As the seller you must:

  • Email the required documents to WesBank
  • Remove any personalised number plates
  • Ensure all outstanding licence fees and traffic fines are paid
  • Negotiate the cost of number plates with the buyer

The car you buy must:

  • Be sold by a private seller (not a dealer or a manufacturer)
  • Be worth R30,000 or more
  • Be less than 20 years old (but can include classic cars - terms and conditions apply)
