Reporting the loss of a WesBank account holder.

Let us know who you are and we'll contact you right away.

Which are you?

If you lose a loved one who had WesBank finance.

Let us help you during this difficult time if their vehicle is still under finance with us.

If you are the next of kin

If there isn't an appointed executor of the estate, the nearest relative (next of kin) will need to supply the following documentation:

  • Contact details
  • Certified copy of ID
  • Certified copy of the death certificate
  • Proof of comprehensive insurance on the vehicle

If you have an executor

The appointed executor will need to supply the following documentation:

  • Contact details
  • Copy of letter of executorship
  • Certified copy of the death certificate
  • Proof of comprehensive insurance on the vehicle

Please bear in mind:

  • The vehicle can be refinanced by the next of kin or the executor, following the normal rules of a credit application.
  • The account needs to be finalised within six (6) months, either by settling the account or refinancing the vehicle.
  • It is very important to keep up the monthly payments until everything is finalised.
  • It is also vital for the vehicle to be insured at all times, either by the next of kin or the executor, because it might not be covered by your loved one's credit life policy.
